CONTEXT

Family-owned installations company struggling with growing pains, market pressure and changes in management. At the same time the owner is preparing to handover the business to the next generation.

SCOPE

To analyse the issues in the organisation and implement measures to stabilize the operations and minimize the financial risk. At the same the management team had to be supported and some of the managers had to be coached.

APPROACH

  • Interim member of the management team involved in daily operations and reporting to the owners.
  • First phase focus on critical projects and financial risks (e.g. outstanding debtors).
  • Second phase focus on structural measures and supporting the next generation of owners taking up their responsibilities.
